Forest Kitchen & Mudroom (Floor Plan Design)

In this historic Colonial, the main floor had no real traffic flow, an underutilized sunroom, no mudroom, and a kitchen that didn't work. Opening doorways between the sunroom, living room, and back hallway created circulation through the whole floor. Dividing the sunroom gave them a mudroom and a playroom. Claiming the hall closet and relocating the deck door gave them a kitchen island, a wide opening to the dining room, and a proper cooking work triangle.
